Mike – on his NT1100 – and I – on my NC750 – met at Harford Tesco’s about 6.30 and rode straight down to A140/A14/A12 to Copdock, and met up with Martin – on his 650 TransAlp – and David, who had carted the gazebo, banners, furniture and publicity leaflets down in his car.
The four of us got the stand set up over the course of half an hour or so, by which time the public gates were ready to open and the morning was already warm.
Through the course of the day we had quite a few inquiries from visitors to the stand. Most were actually from Suffolk and even Essex, but we may yet get a few joiners now we’ve made a bit more of a public appearance.
We took it in turns to look around other stands and exhibits, and I was impressed by the scale and how well everything was organised.
