Nigel (on his BMW 1250GS) met up with Dean (on his immaculate Pan European) and myself (humble and tired old NC750X) at the BP garage at Scole on the A140 then led us through some twisty B roads through Stowmarket and Lavenham down to the TTT Village motorcycle emporium

The unusual suspects

They also carry a wide range of clothing & helmets, a fair selection of accessories, and they run a pretty good café too.

Quite a relaxed atmosphere

I just put this pic in to get my buddy Malcolm going!

We spent a couple of hours or so looking over the bikes and chatting over several cuppas, then headed back on a more direct route up to Bury St Edmunds on the A134 and back to Scole on the A143. By that time Nigel had dropped off to head home, and Dean carried on for Yarmouth so I decided to head for Bunwell so I could take that lovely road past the Hethel Engineering Centre, and back to Norwich on the A11.
The old NC did well in spite of our maintaining a rather brisk pace, and she still did 130 miles on just under a couple of gallons of E10.
